Bond was set Monday in the case of Gene Milner, the former University of Georgia student charged in the beating of a Clemson University student who says he was held against his will in the basement of a Lumpkin Street fraternity house: $7,000 bond for the 23 year-old Milner, who surrendered to police this past Sunday, one week after the alleged assault.
