Athens-Clarke County Police are searching for two suspects in a bank robbery that happened around noon today: Police say the First American Bank Branch on Hull Road was hit by a man with a gun who fled the scene in a car driven by an accomplice. Both men are described as black males; the man with the gun is described by witnesses as wearing a white stocking cap and a black hoodie. The car is described as a white older model import, possibly a Honda, last seen driving on Old Hull Road. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen in the robbery. There were no injuries reported.
