Leaf and Limb Sets Tonnage Record

We're learning more about the impact of that March 1 snowstorm, the winter weather event that buried parts of Athens under nearly 7 inches of snow: City Hall says leaf-and-limb collections totaled some 1,267 tons in March and another 1000 tons in April. That's well above the previous monthly tonnage record of 630 set back in 2005.
