            <description><![CDATA[<p><em>Newsmaker Thursday</em> guests included U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson. CNN's Rick Sanchez joined us, and we talked with Tina Laseter at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. We also heard from Gary Black, Republican candidate for state Ag Commissioner.<br /><br />On <i>Newsmaker Friday</i> we preview Saturday's Bulldog-SC game with Josh Kendall, sportswriter for <i>The State</i> newspaper in Columbia, and we'll talk with Kerry Lynch in the American Institute for Economic Research. We'll also hear from Kristine Kobylus in the Athens-Clarke County Recycling Division, and from Sue Everhart, Chair of the Georgia GOP.<br /><br /><br /></p>
<p><b>Tim began his radio career in Bainbridge Georgia in 1988, after completing a stint at the National Journalism Center in Washington DC. Subsequent stops on the dial include Augusta, Tallahassee, and Atlanta. Tim has also worked as a correspondent for ABC and the Associated Press, and provided commentary&nbsp;for the BBC and Radio New Zealand.<br /><br /></b></p>
