Newsmaker Wednesday guests included WGAU Washington correspondent Jamie Dupree. We also talked with Augusta Chronicle golf writer Scott Michaux, and with Maria Sheffield, Republican candidate for the State Insurance Commissioner's office. And we heard from UGa Ag School Dean Scott Angle.

Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers is a guest on the next Newsmaker Thursday, as is Georgia Democratic Party Chair Jane Kidd. We'll also talk with Mary Hood from Prevent Child Abuse Athens, and with UGa political scientist Charles Bullock.

Sports nutritionist Page Love is among the guests on Newsmaker Friday. We'll also hear excerpts from UGa President Michael Adams' Thursday news conference.

Tim began his radio career in Bainbridge Georgia in 1988, after completing a stint at the National Journalism Center in Washington DC. Subsequent stops on the dial include Augusta, Tallahassee, and Atlanta. Tim has also worked as a correspondent for ABC and the Associated Press, and provided commentary for the BBC and Radio New Zealand.
